The next series of open dialogues were held in the city of Tashkent, Andijan, Navoi, Khorezm, Kashkadarya, Namangan regions, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Initially, incoming appeals were analyzed, priority issues specific to each region were identified, and representatives of relevant responsible institutions were involved.
Overall, nearly 1,000 citizens were covered by the “Ombudsman School” events. In particular, residents of the “Navbahor,” “Obod,” “Ulug‘bek,” “Zarbulog‘,” and “Apartak” neighborhoods in Angren city, as well as the “Bobur,” “Sahovat,” and “Kamalak” neighborhoods in Almalyk city of Tashkent region; the “Angidon” and “Langar” neighborhoods of Khatirchi district and the “Navro‘z,” “Sho‘rtepa,” “Birlik,” “Guliston,” and “Yuksalish” neighborhoods of Konimex district in Navoi region; the “Muhabbat,” “Yoshlik,” and “Navbahor” neighborhoods of Tuproqqal’a district in Khorezm region; and the “Do‘stlik,” “Madaniyat,” “Navro‘z,” and “Arzimbetqum” neighborhoods of Qanliko‘l district in the Republic of Karakalpakstan took part in the events.
Participants were provided with legal explanations on preventing cybercrime and financial fraud, regulating labor relations and labor migration processes, and ensuring human rights and freedoms.
Following the “Ombudsman School” events, mobile receptions of regional representatives were also held, during which citizens’ appeals were received.
In addition, “Ombudsman School” events were organized at the AIDS Prevention Center in Andijan city, Andijan State Medical Institute, the Faculties of Law and Social Sciences of Namangan State University, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, the Women’s Center of Kashkadarya region, Karshi State Technical University, Turon University, and the University of Information Technologies and Management.
During these events, students were informed about state youth policy and the opportunities created for young people.
