From 20 to 22 October this year, an international event entitled “Regional Programme on the Prevention of Torture and Ill-Treatment: A Gender and Intersectionality Approach” was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was organised in cooperation with the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (APF), the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT), and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). A delegation led by the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) participated in the event.
