According to the complaint, on 30 June 2025 at 17:00, a responsible hospital employee informed them by phone that the approved work schedule for July had been cancelled, and based on an internal order, they were transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit of the maternity ward. Disagreeing with this decision, the nurses sought assistance in being reinstated to their previous workplaces.
Following the complaint, the Regional Representative of the Ombudsman in Navoi region, with the involvement of the Navoi Regional Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, conducted a detailed examination. As a result of the introduction of the relevant acts of response, the violated rights of the complainants were restored. The nurses were reinstated to their positions in the Children’s Intensive Care Unit.
In addition, citizen M.A., who had been working as a nurse at Family Polyclinic No. 23 in Surkhandarya region, also submitted a complaint to the Ombudsman regarding violations of her labor rights. She reported that, despite successfully passing the certification, she had been unlawfully dismissed.
This case was also examined by the Ombudsman in cooperation with the relevant organizations, and the labor rights of the complainant were restored. As a result, citizen M.A. was reinstated to her previous workplace.
