The project aims to bring legal support closer to residents of remote areas, increase public legal awareness, address actual complaints, and strengthen cooperation with sectoral organizations. This event also pursued these goals.
Residents and youth from the “Uzunko‘cha”, “Dehqonobod”, “G‘ayrat” and “Abdullabiy” mahallas participated in the event. Students of the school presented their work from various extracurricular clubs in theatre, technology, art, sports, and creativity, along with stage performances and exhibitions. Additionally, a culinary competition was held among members of the cooking club, featuring the preparation of the national dish — plov.
The main component of the event was the mobile reception of citizens led by the regional representative of the Ombudsman in Andijan region. Officials from the district hokimiyat (administration), the Department of Internal Affairs, the district medical association, the “Hududgaz Andijan” gas supply branch, the “Electric Networks” enterprise, and commercial banks also took part. This format allowed specialists from various institutions to engage with citizens directly and address their concerns on the spot.
During the reception, issues related to living conditions, infrastructure, social assistance, employment, and education were considered, with some matters resolved on the spot.
As part of the event, a mobile medical screening was also organized in cooperation with the district medical association. For residents of the “Teshikto‘sh” mahalla, free X-ray, ultrasound, and blood tests were conducted, and medical advice was provided by narrow specialists. This practical step partially addressed the demand for healthcare services in remote areas.
The multifaceted format of this session of the “Ombudsman School”, which combined legal, medical, educational, and social services in one location, was warmly welcomed by the local population.
