According to the appeal, the individuals had been working for 15 years in various positions at the milling workshop of “Asaka Don Mahsulotlari” JSC. However, in January 2025, their employment contracts were terminated once again by the employer without legal grounds.
The appeal was placed under the control of the Ombudsman, and the case was investigated by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Andijan region.
It was revealed that a similar unlawful dismissal by the company’s management had occurred earlier in September 2024. At that time, the employees had been reinstated by a court decision. Nevertheless, three months later, the employer again terminated the contracts, citing a single alleged gross violation of job duties.
Upon reviewing the employment documents, the employer’s allegations were found to be unsubstantiated. The Ombudsman filed a lawsuit in court on behalf of citizen G.I. for reinstatement, and also provided legal support to the other two applicants.
According to the court ruling, all three individuals were reinstated to their previous positions. A total of 37 million UZS was awarded in their favor as compensation for forced absence and moral damages. Additionally, the employer was ordered to pay a total of 5.8 million UZS in state duties.
