These open dialogue events aimed at increasing public legal awareness brought together residents of remote communities such as “Yangiobod,” “Turtkul,” “Nurli Yo‘l,” “G‘alaba,” “Do‘stlik,” and “Shodlik” in Turtkul district of Karakalpakstan; “Tinchlik,” “Navgadi,” “Darveshi,” “Jondor,” and “Paxtakor” in Jondor district of Bukhara region; “Uchkizil” in Termez district of Surkhandarya; “Navruz” in Oqdaryo district of Samarkand region. Students from Ibn Sina Medical College, Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, and Turon University in Karshi also participated.
During the events, representatives of relevant government agencies provided legal explanations to participants on a range of topics including access to quality social services, procedures for obtaining preferential loans, education, healthcare, employment, housing, prevention of domestic violence, protection of women's rights and interests, types of cybercrime, registration in the “Youth Notebook” system, and the associated benefits.
Participants were also informed about the content and significance of the Law “On the Recognition of Rights to Land Plots and Buildings Constructed on Illegally Occupied Land” and the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution “On Measures for Introducing the ‘Social Map’ System for Social Support of the Population.”
In addition to the sessions, mobile receptions were organized to allow citizens to raise their issues directly with the representatives of relevant institutions.
