A working group of qualified doctors from the Health Department of the Khorezm region, including endocrinologists, cardiologists, traumatologists, neurologists, ENT, dermatologists, urologists, gynecologists and ophthalmologists were involved in the medical examination. Inmates and prisoners also underwent medical examinations using ultrasound (ut), ECG and X-ray equipment.
According to the results of medical examinations, 23 people were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, 27 with hypertension, 11 with ischemic heart disease, 5 with gynecological, 15 with neurological, 6 with traumatological, 18 with dermatovenerological and 7 with eye diseases.
Based on the results of the medical examination, 1 person was recommended to undergo additional examination and 3 persons were recommended to undergo surgery if additional medications were prescribed for those who were treated as outpatients.
Based on the results of the medical examination, one person was recommended for additional examination. In addition, patients receiving treatment in outpatient settings were prescribed additional medications, and three patients were recommended for surgery.
On the same day, a monitoring visit to the pre-trial detention center was conducted, during which the living quarters of convicts and inmates, showers, kitchens, rooms for food storage and long meetings, a place for receiving citizens and other conditions on the territory were examined.
Also, during interviews with detainees, their views on the conditions in the institution were explored.
