According to the applicant, her school-age daughter, who lived in the care of her sister in Navoi, had not been admitted to school in the 1st grade.

Under article 50 of the Constitution, everyone has the right to education. In accordance with article 4 of the Education Act, the basic principles in the field of education are non-discrimination in education, equal opportunities in education, continuity and consistency of education, and access to education within the framework of Government educational standards and Government educational requirements.

This appeal was taken under control of the Ombudsman and positively considered.
