The report notes that the 20-year-old girl was beaten by her ex-husband for a long time during the marriage, was abused and forced to take drugs.

The Ombudsman's secretariat interviewed the girl victim and her sister.  The girl noted that she had repeatedly complained to Internal Affairs officers about her ex-husband, who had been previously convicted and was taking drugs. But so far there had been no results.

The case has been taken under control of the Ombudsman, documents related to the case have been studied, and a control letter has been submitted to the General Prosecutor's Office.

The Ombudsman asks that the case be handled within the requirements of the law and that all aspects of the incident be open and fair.
