Based on the appeal, at the initiative of the Ombudsman’s Regional Representative in Syrdarya Region and in cooperation with the Regional Health Department, a comprehensive medical examination was organised for the children staying at the centre.

As a result, 24 children were examined by an ENT specialist, surgeon, ophthalmologist, psychotherapist and therapist.

During the medical examinations, a chest deformity was identified in one child. It was also agreed that another child would undergo surgery free of charge at the National Children’s Medical Centre, and appropriate measures were determined for the child’s further treatment.
