The events involved residents of the Atakul, Davir, Yangidaryo, Beltov, Aydin Yul, Qaraoy and Qongirotkol citizens' assemblies in Takhtakupyr District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Bakht mahalla in the city of Ohangaron, Tashkent Region, the Yuksalish, Birlik, Guliston, Shurkul, Shurtepa and Navruz mahallas in Kanimekh District of Navoi Region, as well as the Bogi Eram, Nursukh, Qorgoncha and Shurqishloq mahallas in Uzbekistan District of Fergana Region.

The programme also covered residents of the Mustaqillik, Feruza, Al-Khwarizmi, Gulshan, Gulzor, Avesto, Mash'al, Babur, Kohna Qal'a, Umid, Dustlik, Temir Yulchi, Baynalminalchi, Olimpiya, Gulchilar, Boston and Nurli Hayot mahallas in the city of Urgench, Khorezm Region, as well as the Buloqboshi and Bozorboshi mahallas in Chust District, Namangan Region.

In Termez District of Surkhandarya Region, residents of the Sh. Rashidov, Quyoshli Yurt, Amir Temur, Termiz, Qorakhon, Istiqlol, Dustlik, Ayritom, Joyjangal and Navruz mahallas participated in the events. In Vobkent District of Bukhara Region, the event was organised at the Youth Centre, where young people were informed about the legislative requirements related to combating human trafficking.

In the city of Samarkand, a seminar-training session was organised with the participation of more than 100 young people planning to travel abroad through foreign language study programmes. The events in Andijan Region were likewise aimed specifically at young people intending to work or study abroad. Forty-one young people studying foreign languages and vocational skills at a Vocational Training Centre participated in the programme.

Representatives of the Migration Agency, internal affairs bodies, the Istiqbolli Avlod Social Information Centre, the Hamroh non-governmental non-profit organisation, the Inson Social Services Centre and other partner organisations also took part in the events.

Participants were informed, through practical case studies, about the risks associated with human trafficking and irregular migration, as well as fraudulent schemes involving fake employment and education offers. Particular attention was given to the importance of verifying employment contracts and the activities of intermediary organisations before travelling abroad, not handing over personal documents to third parties, and keeping contact details of consular institutions and emergency hotlines readily available. The seminar participants were also informed about mechanisms for identifying victims of human trafficking and providing them with legal, social and psychological assistance.

Following the event in Namangan Region, a mobile public reception was organised for residents of the Buloqboshi and Bozorboshi mahallas.

The events were aimed at raising awareness among the public and young people about the risks of human trafficking and irregular migration, promoting lawful and safe employment abroad, and developing the skills needed to identify suspicious offers at an early stage.
