To this end, the Ombudsman's regional representatives conduct on-site examinations of citizens' appeals.
The latest field visits were carried out by the Ombudsman's regional representatives in Kashkadarya, Syrdarya, Samarkand, Khorezm and Andijan Regions, as well as in Tashkent Region and the city of Tashkent.
To ensure a comprehensive review of the issues raised and to identify appropriate solutions, working groups were established with the participation of deputies of local Kengashes, representatives of the relevant government agencies and other responsible institutions.
During the visits, the representatives met directly with applicants, heard their concerns, examined the circumstances described in the appeals on site, and reviewed the relevant documentation.
The appeals mainly concerned social support, medical and financial assistance, property rights, residential property valuation, compensation for demolished housing, public utility services, gas and drinking water supply, as well as issues related to trafficking in persons and fraud.
Where additional examination is required, inquiries have been sent to the competent authorities, and the appeals have been placed under the Ombudsman's supervision.
