According to the appeal, his child, I.E., was assigned Group I disability on October 28, 2024, due to a serious illness. As the validity period of the disability was nearing its expiration, the child underwent a repeated medical examination, and the relevant documents were submitted to the competent commission in accordance with established procedures.
However, as stated by the applicant, the process of extending the disability status was delayed due to the absence of information in the electronic system regarding temporary registration issued by internal affairs bodies. As a result, the child was unable to receive disability benefits.
The appeal was taken under control by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Surkhandarya region and reviewed in cooperation with relevant officials of the regional healthcare system. Subsequently, the documents were reprocessed and resubmitted to the appropriate medical and social expert commission.
As a result of the measures taken, starting from 2026, Group I disability was re-established for I.E., and the appeal was resolved positively.
