Mobile Receptions Help Address Citizens’ Appeals Effectively
As is known, regional representatives of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) regularly organize mobile receptions in remote areas where the number of appeals is particularly high.

The latest mobile receptions were held by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Bukhara region (Romitan district) and by the representative in Andijan region in Jalakuduk district, which has seen the highest number of appeals.

It is noteworthy that representatives of relevant state bodies also participated in the receptions, allowing citizens to directly present their issues to responsible officials on the spot.

During these receptions, more than 40 citizens submitted their appeals. Most of the issues raised concerned employment, social and material assistance, housing, alimony, access to banking services, and free legal consultation.

Each appeal was reviewed individually, relevant legal explanations were provided, and practical measures were taken to resolve problems on-site. In certain cases, direct instructions were given to relevant organizations and responsible officials.

Following the reception, the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Andijan region, together with a working group, visited the homes of several citizens to study their problems in greater depth.

Such mobile receptions serve as an important tool for engaging in open dialogue with the public, directly hearing their concerns, providing effective solutions, and ultimately increasing civic engagement.
