During the visit, the representative reviewed the living conditions, food, medical services, visitation rooms, storage conditions for food and medications, and procedures for the delivery of packages from close relatives for individuals temporarily held in the detention center.
The inspection confirmed that all 302 surveillance cameras in the facility, which has a capacity of 600 detainees, were in proper working condition.
Additionally, a group survey of detainees was conducted, during which about 10 detainees who wished to speak individually with the Ombudsman’s regional representative submitted separate appeals. During the on-site reception, appeals were filed concerning attorney visits, access to medical assistance, guardianship, and other issues.
Appeals submitted to the "Ombudsman Box" were also collected, and individual meetings were held with their authors.
All appeals received during the monitoring have been taken under review and will be addressed.
