March 25, 2022 in the conference hall of the City Palace Hotel Tashkent the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Office of Penal Reform International in Central Asia, together with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the Regional Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for Central Asia and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime in Uzbekistan held a regional conference on the use of alternative measures to imprisonment in criminal proceedings in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
