Since the beginning of the new academic year, “Ombudsman Hour” lessons have been consistently held across all regions of the country, reaching a total of 1,175 students.

In particular, the lessons were conducted at general education schools No. 1 and No. 4 of the Takhyatosh district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan; schools No. 1 and No. 11 of the Kurgantepa district of Andijan region; schools No. 9 and No. 10 in the city of Bukhara; schools No. 3 and No. 24 of the Fergana district of Fergana region; schools No. 16, No. 4, and No. 7 in the Mirzaabad and Bayavut districts and in the city of Shirin of Syrdarya region. Furthermore, classes were held in schools No. 6, No. 1, No. 2, and No. 66, as well as in the Polytechnic College of Muborak, Kamashi, and Karshi districts of Kashkadarya region; in the specialized state general education school No. 40 of Samarkand region; in school No. 3 of the Gurlan district of Khorezm region; and in school No. 69 of the Yashnobod district of Tashkent city.

During the interactive lessons, conducted in the format of open dialogue, senior students were introduced to the concepts of human rights and freedoms, online safety, cybersecurity, equality, and responsibility through real-life examples. The interconnection between environmental protection and human rights was also discussed in an engaging format using video materials.

The practical sessions held by the Office of the Ombudsman and its regional representatives were enriched by active question-and-answer exchanges and lively discussions.
