Ombudsman Met with Uzbek Youth in Warsaw
On October 9, 2026, Feruza Eshmatova, Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman), met with Uzbek youth at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland during her official visit to Warsaw, Republic of Poland.

The meeting was held in an open-dialogue format, during which the participants’ views and suggestions were heard, and issues of interest to them were discussed.

The discussions also covered the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, particularly the opportunities being created for young people. Special attention was paid to the conditions provided for young people to receive quality education, acquire professional skills, engage in entrepreneurship, and develop modern knowledge and competencies.

In addition, the participants discussed the role of the Ombudsman institution in ensuring human rights and freedoms, mechanisms for protecting citizens’ rights and legitimate interests, and ways to strengthen dialogue with compatriots living abroad.

The meeting was held in a warm and open atmosphere.
