During the dialogue, the convicted women were provided with explanations regarding the right to submit appeals, the established procedure for submitting applications and complaints, the prohibition of any pressure against a person who has submitted an appeal, as well as incentive measures and legal mechanisms applicable during the serving of a sentence.
In the areas of social protection and employment, practical explanations were provided on the procedures for granting benefits to released persons, obtaining social assistance, vocational training and assistance with employment.
Representatives of the Probation Department, the National Agency for Social Protection and the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment were also involved in the event and provided legal explanations on-site in response to questions raised by the participants.
At the conclusion of the event, a mobile reception was held, during which appeals from around 20 convicted women were received.
