Prior to the event, appeals received by the Ombudsman from the area were analysed, issues of particular relevance to the local population were identified, and representatives of the relevant state bodies and organisations were invited to participate in the open dialogue.
Residents of the “Mirzadala”, “Galaba”, “Toshkent”, “Yerjar”, “Yangidala”, “Mustaqillik” and “Pakhtazor” mahalla citizens’ assemblies took part in the event.
During the open dialogue, alongside finding solutions to issues of concern to residents, attention was also paid to areas of particular relevance to the region. In particular, issues related to labour relations, property and legal relations concerning land, engagement with residents in mahallas, as well as the recognition of rights to buildings and structures were discussed.
During the dialogue, citizens had the opportunity to directly address their questions to the responsible officials and receive legal explanations. Appropriate measures were identified to examine and resolve the issues raised in cooperation with the competent authorities.
