The latest open dialogues were held in the Khorezm, Fergana, Bukhara, Samarkand and Surkhandarya regions. Initially, appeals were analyzed, pressing issues specific to each region were identified, and representatives of the relevant responsible agencies were engaged.

During the events, nearly 800 citizens were covered. In particular, residents of the “Mug‘oncha” mahalla in Romitan district of Bukhara region; the “Burqut”, “Mirzo Salimiy”, “Istiqlol”, “Yangiobod”, “Toshko‘prik” and “Tadbirkor” mahallas in Pakhtachi district, and the “Mustaqillik”, “Beshbola”, “Dehqonobod”, “Nurafshon”, “Navoiy” and “Sharq yulduzi” mahallas in Jomboy district of Samarkand region; the “Qudash”, “Konizar”, “Sho‘rsuv”, “Nursux”, “O‘qchi” and “Oxunboboyev” mahallas in O‘zbekiston district of Fergana region; and the “Shodlik”, “Ma’rifat”, “Eski shahar”, “Tuproq qo‘rg‘on”, “Gulira’no”, “Bog‘zor”, “Tinchlik”, “Alpomish”, “Majnuntol” and “Guliston” mahallas in Termiz city of Surkhandarya region took part in the events.

During the meetings, participants were provided with information on cybersecurity, prevention of financial fraud, rights and guarantees in the field of labour, legislative procedures related to labour migration, as well as issues of social protection.

Following the open dialogues, mobile receptions of the Ombudsman’s regional representatives were also held, during which citizens’ appeals were received.

In addition, “Ombudsman School” events were conducted at Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and at the Narcology Service Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Centre for Mental Health in Khorezm region.

The event was held in the form of a question-and-answer session and open dialogue. Specialists provided answers to the questions raised by participants.
