During the meeting, the working and living conditions of the citizens were examined, and their concerns and appeals were heard. Citizens were also provided with information on the existing mechanisms for the protection of their rights and legitimate interests, opportunities for obtaining consular and legal assistance, as well as the activities of the Ombudsman institution.

During the open dialogue, citizens raised questions concerning legal matters of interest to them. In particular, issues related to access to education, starting entrepreneurial activities, making use of opportunities available to young people, as well as ensuring the rights and legitimate interests of their relatives in Uzbekistan, were discussed.

Representatives of the Embassy also emphasized that the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of Uzbekistan working abroad, the provision of consular assistance, and the prompt resolution of emerging issues remain under constant attention.
