The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Committee for Family and Women Affairs, representatives of the poverty reduction and employment sector, as well as psychologists from Karakalpak State University.

During the meeting, an open dialogue was held with women affected by harassment and violence, and specific cases were thoroughly reviewed. Issues of cooperation among social services, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant institutions were also discussed.

A personal reception was also conducted by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, during which the appeals of affected women were heard and legal consultations were provided. Psychologists conducted both individual and group sessions and provided the necessary psychological support.
