All three applicants, received by the regional representative, had been subjected to pressure and violence by their spouses, including physical and psychological abuse. They are currently provided with temporary shelter at the center together with their children.

During the review of the appeals, it was established that the issue of securing permanent housing remains a pressing concern for these women after leaving the center. In this regard, based on their appeals, relevant district authorities were tasked with considering the allocation of housing from the social housing fund, while prosecutorial authorities were engaged to ensure that lawful measures are taken in response to ongoing cases of pressure against the women.

Within the framework of the “Equality and Respect” platform, such outreach and review activities are being carried out across the country. This approach focuses not only on providing legal, social, and psychological support to women affected by violence, but also on conducting preventive and awareness-raising work with perpetrators. This contributes to preventing повторное насилие, as well as strengthening a culture of respect and responsibility within family relationships.
