During the event, which took place in the format of an open dialogue, information was provided on the system for ensuring and protecting human rights and freedoms in the country, the institutional mechanisms for their protection, as well as the reforms being implemented in this field in recent years.

Participants were also informed about the main functions of the Ombudsman institution, the procedure for reviewing citizens’ appeals, practical measures aimed at addressing human rights violations, and the mechanisms of parliamentary oversight.

During the meeting, students raised questions of interest and exchanged views on increasing the legal awareness of young people and their active participation in ensuring human rights.
