In particular, sessions were organized at School No. 1 in Termez (Surkhandaryo region); School No. 2 in Romitan district (Bukhara region); Specialized State General Education School No. 40 in Jomboy district (Samarkand region); School No. 1 in Guliston (Sirdaryo region); Schools Nos. 1, 2, 6, 7, 63, and 100 and the Polytechnic in Muborak, Qamashi, and Koson districts (Qashqadaryo region); and Schools Nos. 7, 48, and 6 in Chartak district (Namangan region).
The lessons, held in an open dialogue format, made extensive use of video tutorials and interactive methods. They explained human rights and freedoms, children’s rights, internet and information security, the activities of the Ombudsman, and the prevention of cybercrime. A Q&A session was held under the topic “Who ensures my rights?” Real-life examples highlighted the interconnection between environmental protection and human rights.
The trainings conducted by the Ombudsman’s regional representatives are helping students gain a broader understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
