A resident of Uchkuduq district, R.B., complained that during rainfall water accumulates at the entrance of a multi-storey building and seeps into the corridor; despite repeated appeals to the homeowners’ association/management company, the issue had not been resolved.
Another appeal in the city of Navoi noted that, although a decision had been made to grant the applicant material assistance, the allocated funds were not disbursed on time.

In both cases, relevant organizations were engaged and on-site inspections carried out, resulting in the appeals being resolved positively.
Work is also underway on a housing-related appeal received from Tashkent city. The case has been studied by the regional representative in Tashkent, information has been collected, and appropriate measures are being taken.

Field examinations of citizens’ appeals help resolve problems in a targeted manner, strengthen the accountability of responsible bodies, and increase the effectiveness of human rights protection.
