The next such event was held in Marhamat district of Andijan region in cooperation with G. Abduvohidova, member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, and the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Andijan region. It was attended by 53 residents of the “Alitepa,” “Mirishkor,” “Chilon,” and “Ukchi” mahallas.

This event was organized based on the analysis of appeals received by the Ombudsman from citizens of this district. Representatives of relevant organizations and agencies were involved to address issues such as social protection, the assignment of pensions and allowances, access to free legal aid, and other matters.

As part of the event, a mobile reception was also organized, during which citizens engaged in direct dialogue with representatives of the competent authorities and received practical assistance on their concerns. A number of appeals were resolved on the same day, while others were taken under monitoring.

Following the event, monitoring visits were carried out to the “Muruvvat” residential institution for children with disabilities and the Rehabilitation Center in Qorqontepa district, where the conditions of these facilities were also studied.
