As part of efforts to establish effective dialogue between the public and state bodies, and to raise citizens' legal awareness, the Commissioner of Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) continues to implement the “Ombudsman School” initiative. These events also include public receptions, during which appeals from citizens are accepted.

During the past week, “Ombudsman School” sessions were held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as in the Navoi and Bukhara regions.

In particular, the event held in the Nukus district of Karakalpakstan covered over 150 residents from the “Aqmangit,” “To‘qtov,” “Aqterek,” “Qutankul,” and “Taqirkul” communities.

During the event aimed at increasing legal awareness, participants were provided with information on:

  • The introduction of the “Social Map” system in the regions, and
  • Recent legislative acts outlining benefits in accessing medical services.

Additionally, a mobile public reception was conducted by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Karakalpakstan.
