During the meeting, Ms. Fujii expressed interest in the Ombudsman’s main areas of activity, particularly in how the Ombudsman interaction with the population is organized.

The discussion also addressed planned projects for cooperation between the Ombudsman and the UNDP Office in Uzbekistan. 

Ms. Fujii emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration in promoting youth rights.

She proposed organizing projects and special courses for young people who have served their sentences and returned to society, highlighting everyone’s right to a second chance and an opportunity to start a new life.

Ms. Fujii also expressed interest in continuing cooperation with the Ombudsman’s institution, emphasizing the importance of working on projects aimed at preventing youth-related offenses.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
