Students are taught important skills to defend their rights
As part of the "Ombudsman Hour" project, conducted jointly by the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, lessons were organized to enhance students' understanding of human rights and freedoms. The project aims to increase the legal literacy of the younger generation and protect their rights.

The following events under the project were held for students of general education schools No. 1 in Andijan region, No. 10, 12, and 15 in Syrdarya region, No. 24 and 29 in Khorezm region, No. 12 in Surkhandarya region, No. 12 and 30 in Bukhara region, as well as for students of the Presidential School in Bukhara city.

Regional representatives of the Ombudsman engaged in open communication with students, enriching practical lessons with Q&A sessions and lively discussions. Interactive methods were also used to make the lessons more engaging, including video demonstrations and role-playing games to help solidify the information learned. Through these activities, students gained a better understanding of their personal, political, socio-economic, environmental, and cultural rights, as well as how to apply them in real life.

"Ombudsman Hour" lessons are held nationwide to equip the youth with vital skills for defending their rights in the future.
