During the trials in the case of the riots in Nukus, testimonies were obtained based on video materials
We remind you that the trial in a criminal case against 22 defendants in connection with the riots that occurred in the city of Nukus on July 1-2, 2022 began on January 4 in the building of the Bukhara Regional Court. The court hears the testimony of witnesses and civil plaintiffs, as well as representatives of state bodies of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The testimonies of witnesses and defendants were compared with video recordings taken during the days of the demonstrations.
Members of the Commission for Studying the Situation and Events in the Republic of Karakalpakstan participate in the court session. Based on the information received, the processes are carried out in accordance with the established requirements.
