Rehabilitation centre in Khorezm studied

On March 2 of this year, the regional representative of the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) in the Khorezm region, Odilbek Ollayorov, visited special reception facilities of the Khorezm regional public order department for detainees and the Rehabilitation Center for the homeless. In the institution he studied the conditions created for the detainees.

In total, the rehabilitation center is designed for 75 beds, it is currently established that there are 3 stateless persons in it. During the conversation with them, no complaints were received.

Currently, there are 33 detainees in the 60-bed administrative detention facility. When studying the conditions created for them, it was found that they have the opportunity to talk with close relatives by phone from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00, to meet from 16:00 to 18:00.

Along with this, the regional representative examined the duty station, the hostel, the first-aid post and the kitchen of the institution.
