A regular meeting of the members of the commission to study the situation and events in the Republic of Karakalpakstan was held. On November 24, 2022, the Regional Representative of the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) in the Kashkadarya region M. Normuradov made a monitoring visit to the regional psychiatric hospital. It was also attended by the chief doctor of the 1st family polyclinic of the city of Karshi J. Eshimov and the temporary head of the Karshi city medical association M. Khudjamov.

This is the third Samarkand Forum - Global Forum, based on the initiative put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly and the 46th session of the Human Rights Council, the problems of developing education in the field of human rights will be discussed.

The Bukhara Regional Court continues open court proceedings to consider a criminal case against 22 defendants in connection with the riots that took place in the city of Nukus on July 1-2, 2022. In July, representatives of the National Guard and the Prosecutor General's Office said that 516 people had been detained for participating in demonstrations. The public had questions about the whereabouts of the remaining individuals.

Article 10 of the Law "On the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman)" provides that anonymous appeals are not considered by the Ombudsman. However, due to the fact that this appeal reported a case of violence, it was investigated at the initiative of the Ombudsman.
