The Protocol is aimed at ensuring a unified approach in the activities of the Ombudsman’s Office and regional representatives when reviewing complaints, conducting monitoring visits, engaging with citizens, and addressing cases of gender-based violence, in accordance with international standards and national legislation.
PROTOCOL ON PROVIDING PRIMARY LEGAL ASSISTANCE TO VICTIMS OF GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
This Protocol on Providing Primary Legal Assistance to Victims of Gender-Based Violence, developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, was approved by Order No. 1/1-K of 3 January 2025 of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) for application in official practice.
