The appeal was examined by the Ombudsman’s Regional Representative in Syrdarya Region jointly with the Regional State Labour Inspectorate.

During the examination, employees’ written explanations, videos posted on Telegram, as well as audio recordings calling on employees to report for work were reviewed. As a result, the fact that employees had been required to work on their days off was confirmed.

Following the examination, an administrative offence report was drawn up against the head of the department, A.P., pursuant to Part 1 of Article 51 of the Code on Administrative Liability, and a fine of UZS 41.2 million was imposed.
