During the event, meetings were held with 14 women temporarily accommodated at the centre, and their appeals concerning legal, social and economic issues were received. The women are currently staying at the centre together with their 20 minor children.

In particular, two women received legal advice on filing statements of claim with the court and obtaining ownership rights to residential property. Assistance was also provided to two women in recovering alimony payments amounting to a total of UZS 4.8 million.

In addition, practical assistance was provided to two women in enrolling their children in a preschool educational institution and a school located near the centre.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached with the Khorezm Regional Health Department to provide women staying at the centre and their children with comprehensive medical examinations free of charge and, where necessary, the required medical treatment.
