During the event, a video presentation on the Ombudsman’s activities in 2025 was demonstrated. Participants were also provided with information on the role of the Ombudsman institution in ensuring human rights, freedoms and legitimate interests, the practice of handling citizens’ appeals, as well as Uzbekistan’s experience in combating torture.
Particular attention during the dialogue was paid to the importance of observing human rights in the activities of future law enforcement officers, adhering to professional ethics in communication with citizens, and ensuring respectful and responsible treatment of applicants. It was emphasized that every action of an officer of the internal affairs bodies is directly linked to safeguarding human dignity, legality, and public trust.
At the end of the event, participants received answers to their questions.
