This month, the “Ombudsman School” events were held in the Bukhara, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Surkhandarya, and Namangan regions, covering nearly 600 citizens and youth. The meetings brought together residents of Ingichka settlement in Samarkand region, “Latifsavungar” and “Niyozkhoja” mahallas of Vabkent district in Bukhara region, “Ulug‘ yo‘l” mahalla of Gulistan city in Syrdarya region, as well as residents of “Mustaqillik”, “Duoba”, “Inkobod”, “Pulhokim”, “Urmonchi”, “Khojaidod”, “Avlod”, “Bibishirin”, “Bog‘ibolo”, “Boshrabot”, “Kofrun”, “Ko‘chkak”, “Pasurkhi”, “To‘da”, “Sariosiyo” and other mahallas of Boysun district in Surkhandarya region. Students of Namangan State Technical University also took part in the events.
During the dialogues, participants received legal information on preventing cybercrime and financial fraud, regulating labor relations and labor migration, and ensuring human rights and freedoms. Practical recommendations were also provided on protecting personal data, strengthening cybersecurity, and regulating employer–employee relations.
Citizens had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions, and some issues were resolved on the spot. Following the meetings, regional representatives of the Ombudsman held on-site receptions with local residents.
Additionally, events of the “Ombudsman School” were held at Namangan State Technical University, where students were informed about the state youth policy and opportunities created for them.
These events contribute to raising legal awareness among the population, addressing citizens’ appeals directly on-site, and resolving them in cooperation with relevant organizations.
