According to the complaint, in November 2023, A.O. was involved in a traffic accident while driving a Damas vehicle. The damaged vehicle (a BYD) was insured by Gross Sug'urta Insurance JSC, which subsequently paid compensation to the victim.
After the payout, Gross Sug'urta filed a recovery claim in Karmana Interdistrict Civil Court to collect the damages, state duty, and postal fees from A.O. The court ruled in favor of the insurer, placing the payment obligation on A.O.
However, it was revealed that A.O.'s Damas vehicle was insured by Euroasia Insurance JSC. In accordance with the Law, Euroasia Insurance was legally obligated to cover the compensation on A.O.'s behalf. Despite A.O.'s formal request, the company refused to make the payment.
Upon review of the complaint, the Ombudsman took the case under supervision, conducted a detailed investigation, and submitted a formal intervention to the responsible insurance company.
As a result, Euroasia Insurance JSC fulfilled its obligation and paid the due compensation, thereby restoring A.O.’s violated rights.
