The Authorized Person for Human Rights received appeals from labor migrants at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia

On May 19th this year the Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Feruza Eshmatova and Director of the National Center for Human Rights of Uzbekistan Akmal Saidov organized a reception at the Embassy of our country in the Russian Federation as part of a working visit to the country.

During the reception, the issues of torture of about 20 of our compatriots and their family members, who left for another country to work and faced a number of difficulties, were studied.

On the same day, the presentation of the book "Victory Park: The Philosophy of Courage and Resilience" and a meeting with the rector of the Moscow State Law University named after O.E. Kutafina was organized, and joint profitable projects were also agreed.
