At the state awards ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev linked the most important outcome of the reforms implemented in recent years to the changes in people’s lives.

“The greatest achievement of New Uzbekistan is a transformed individual, a citizen who believes in their own strength, and a society that feels a sense of responsibility for and involvement in the future!”

The Head of State emphasized that, together with the people, the country is confidently advancing along the path of building a New Uzbekistan where human dignity is upheld and development is founded on justice and progress.

These principles also define the substance and essence of reforms aimed at ensuring human rights and freedoms and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

The President emphasized that the work and courage demonstrated by every person who received a state award deserve special recognition, and sincerely congratulated compatriots across the country who are receiving honorary titles, orders and medals.

“People look with admiration at the high titles, orders and medals that you proudly wear, and our young people aspire to follow your example. I am confident that this will give you new strength, energy and inspiration in your future endeavors.”
