During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation in the field of human rights protection, exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives.

The parties also exchanged views on further developing cooperation among the Ombudsperson institutions of Central Asian countries. In this regard, the importance of the events organised by the Rule of Law Centre in Helsinki over the past two years was emphasised.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen practical cooperation in the field of human rights protection and to continue constructive dialogue on a consistent basis.
