Based on the content of the appeals, working groups were formed with the participation of representatives of relevant organizations and agencies, and the situations were analyzed on the spot. These appeals raised issues such as labor rights, land relations, the provision of medical services, the legality of administrative penalties, environmental rights, and protection from cases of domestic violence.
During the study process, direct communication was held with the applicants, and recommendations were given to the responsible organizations to take appropriate measures within the framework of legal requirements. For some cases, measures were identified to resolve the issues on site.
In addition, prisoners’ appeals were also studied through on-site visits. In particular, meetings were held with persons held at Pre-trial Detention Center No. 4 in Bukhara region and Pre-trial Detention Center No. 3 in Andijan region, and their appeals were reviewed.
