It should be noted that, following the decision of the National Commission’s meeting on 16 April 2025, the members of the National Commission were assigned to different regions, with the Ombudsman designated as the focal point for Navoi region.

During the meeting, the activities carried out over the first nine months of 2025 were critically reviewed, and current issues and future priorities in the field were discussed.

It was highlighted that during this period, 12 meetings were held in the region on issues of combating human trafficking and ensuring decent work, and more than 480 awareness-raising events were organized among the population, educational institutions, and labor collectives, engaging over 7,500 citizens.

The meeting also outlined a set of measures aimed at ensuring systematic coordination among all city and district commissions, as well as strengthening cooperation between state bodies and public organizations in this area.

At the conclusion of the meeting, specific tasks were assigned to relevant organizations to enhance efforts in combating human trafficking and ensuring decent working conditions.
