Ambassador Reinis Trokša highly praised the efforts of the Ombudsman institution in protecting human rights, as well as the strengthening of its legislative framework. He also proposed cooperation within the framework of the project "Support for Strengthening the Capacity of Public Administration in Uzbekistan" to expand opportunities for women in government administration.

Additionally, the parties discussed the development of a methodology for working with women affected by domestic violence within the framework of the project.

Both sides expressed their readiness for further cooperation in the field of human rights and freedoms protection.
