The complainant noted that the building of MSH "Khoja Porso" in Margilan city, Family Polyclinic No. 4 and General Secondary School No. 10 are located close to the road. Thus, more than 7,000 thousand residents, pupils and patients in the area will have to cross the main intersection.

This appeal was transferred to the control of the Ombudsman and studied by the regional representative in Fergana region together with the administration of the city of Margilan. Indeed, as it turned out, this intersection has high automobile traffic, and due to the proximity of the health clinic and school, residents of the neighborhood face many difficulties in crossing the intersection.

Following the Ombudsman's appeal to the relevant organizations, a traffic light was installed at this intersection on Alisher Navoi Street in Margilan city.

For information, in accordance with the Decree of the President on April 4, 2022 "On measures to reliably ensure human safety on highways and drastically reduce mortality", the intersection or road section where a traffic light device is planned to be installed is examined in terms of compliance with urban planning norms and regulations, as well as the intensity of pedestrian and vehicle traffic passing through the location. A positive conclusion on the installation of a traffic light device will be obtained if the location complies with the requirements of the applicable regulations.
