Members of the commission alternately meet with lawyers defending the rights of those brought to criminal responsibility on cases initiated in connection with the events in Karakalpakstan, and carefully study each case.

At this meeting, first of all, it was asked if there were any objections to a meeting with those brought to criminal responsibility.

Responses were also received to questions about the current position of the person under the protection of a lawyer and whether he had filed any complaints or objections.

The lawyers provided information about the circumstances related to the defendant's criminal case, the course of the investigation and other situations.

It should be noted that the number of citizens wishing to apply to the headquarters of the Commission is also increasing.

After a meeting with lawyers, citizens' appeals were immediately accepted. Some applicants noted that they had already received response letters from the relevant organizations to their appeals submitted to the Commission. Citizens positively assess the fact that their appeals are studied properly and taken under control.
