On November 29, 2023, the first meeting of the CIS Human Rights Commission was held in Minsk. Representatives of Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as the Secretary General of the Commonwealth and the CIS Executive Committee participated in the hybrid discussions. Members of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s delegation led by Feruza Eshmatova, Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis for Human Rights (ombudsman) took part in the meeting.
