The event was attended by the Ombudsman’s regional representative in Kashkadarya region, the head of the regional branch of the “Mahalla” Public Charity Fund, the head of a department of the Kashkadarya Regional Justice Department, a representative of the regional office of the National Agency for Social Protection, and a psychologist.
Currently, 11 women and their 15 children reside at the center. During the meeting, an open dialogue was held with them to discuss the challenges they have faced, their current needs, and their future plans. It was noted that some of the women have already secured permanent employment.
One of the participants emphasized that her stay at the center had become a turning point in her life. According to her, she is now officially employed in a private company, and her children attend kindergarten and school.
During the discussion, the women were provided with explanations on legal mechanisms for supporting victims of violence, available benefits, and psychological assistance. Their appeals were heard.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were presented with commemorative gifts prepared with the support of the regional branch of the “Mahalla” Public Charity Fund.
